Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Loan Processing Manager Summary: Responsible for processing, administration, and closing of residential mortgage loans through activities such as processing loan documentation by verifying the accuracy of completion, setting up new accounts, maintaining loan records and files. Loan Processor Responsibilities Prepares Real Estate loans from application to closing. Responsible for scanning quality control checks Utilizes Laser Pro and Mortgagebot software to process loan applications and documents Schedule appointments for loan officers Assists loan officer with supplying information from files, document preparation and Coordinates loan closings with borrower, seller & realtors Prepares checks for loan officers Logs all closed loans in appropriate monthly logs Funds, uploading & General Ledger preparation of all loans Quote & process loan pay offs Order appraisals, title work, flood certificates Collects information for HMDA reportable loans Assist loan officer with obtaining underwriting documentation Research and resolve problems Abide by compliance regulations as well as adhere to loan policy guidelines Other duties as assigned by management Sale of Bank products/services when applicable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Training and Experience: High school diploma or GED required or; One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Conditions of Employment: Must travel between branches as required. Must pass background check.
