Technical Program Manager

Job Title: Technical Program Manager
Location: Knoxville, TN, Columbia SC or Lafayette, LA or Birmingham, AL

Responsibilities
• Own the planning, coordination, and delivery of key project milestones within a large-scale technology initiative in the financial services sector.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams in an AWS-heavy technical environment to ensure smooth delivery of cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
• Manage client expectations, and drive quality and timeliness across project deliverables.
• Serve as a key point of contact for progress updates, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• Work with Consultants and Senior Consultants to keep both interim and final deliverables on track.
• Maintain project and program lifecycle costs and budgeting.
• Present effectively to senior leadership and build strong client relationships.
• Tackle complex technical issues alongside engineering teams.
• Lead and guide teams of technical professionals towards project goals.

Requirements
• 5+ years of progressive IT and direct project/program management experience.
• Proven ability to plan and track complex projects using tools like Microsoft Project.
• Sharp attention to detail to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Solid understanding of project and program lifecycle costs and budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills with negotiation capabilities.
• Comfortable working through complex technical issues with engineering teams.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Able to confidently present to and work alongside senior leadership.
• Background working in AWS or other major cloud environments is a plus.
• Financial services industry experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
