Budget Analyst

Budget Analyst Position

The major duties of the Budget Analyst position include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Serve as a consultant and advisor in all phases of budget and related financial management matters.
2. Formulate and execute broad financial plans and policies affecting the authorization and use of funds.
3. Review and analyze financial plans and summaries prepared for comparison of budgets to allowances; determine significant deviations and reasons, and recommends corrective action, where necessary.
4. Responsible for the formulation and effectuation of plans, procedures, standards and methods covering all phases of the budgeting allocations, apportionments and financial controls.
