Join our travel Physical Therapist team in Russellville, AR working in home health where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Arkansas physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Home health and OASIS experience required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel within the agency service area covering parts of Johnson, Logan, Yell, and Pope counties. Mileage reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient.
• Must be able to complete patient evaluations, develop PT plans of care, and document per state and agency guidelines.
• Ability to participate in schedule flexibility, including weekend rotation and potential holiday availability as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HCHB (home health software) preferred.
• Previous supervision experience of home health aides or PTAs preferred when allowed by state regulation.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2000-0400.
• Weekly hour guarantee: 32 hours per week.
• Coverage area includes Russellville and parts of Johnson, Logan, Yell, and Pope counties.
• On call/weekend requirement: no for routine assignment; schedule flexibility and weekend rotation may be required to meet patient needs.
• Visits will occur throughout the agency service area and may require travel to nearby agencies as needed.

Impacting Patient Care

Evaluate patients’ functional status and the status of body systems required for CMS documentation. Develop and implement PT plans of care in coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Provide treatment to relieve pain, restore or maintain function, and instruct patients and caregivers on goals and home programs. Complete progress notes per agency policy and prepare written discharge summaries or condition reports at least every 60 days. Participate in staff conferences, in-service education, and maintain clinical knowledge to meet state licensure requirements. May supervise home health aides and PTAs when allowed by state regulation. Schedule flexibility is required to meet patient care needs.
