Senior Equity Analyst - VP/Director

International long‑only fund seeks a Global Equity Research Analyst to cover general sectors. The asset manager focuses on high‑quality growth stocks in a long‑term, fundamental value‑oriented investment approach. The position is located in New York City and is part of a global team across different time zones. Responsibilities Conduct bottom‑up research of equities in assigned industries. Develop and present new investment ideas. Monitor current investments to enhance risk‑adjusted returns. Track news on underlying portfolio stocks and assess impacts. Build and maintain comprehensive company models, creating income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts and performing valuation analysis. Conduct on‑site company visits, conference calls and meet with company management frequently. Maintain frequent communication with portfolio managers on industries and stocks in their portfolio. Requirements Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic track record; MBA, CFA a plus. Excellent analytical skills. Strong work ethics. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg. Strong team orientation. Approximately 20 years of experience in equity investment research, financial modeling and analysis (15 years+ is acceptable). Technology sector analyst experience is preferable, but not mandatory. Working knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuation. Ability to multi‑task and work with numerous teams.
