Job Title

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Multiple openings available: one position at 40 hours per week with various day/evening shifts, and one position at 36 hours per week Monday through Wednesday 10:00am–11:00pm; both positions include rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established protocol for CT exam routines, producing quality studies in an efficient and timely manner
• Properly warm up CT scanner, run QA, and bring up pressure injector, PACS units, and Meditech prior to scanning
• Adjust and manipulate images to required specifications including windowing, contrast, algorithm settings, separating exams by accession, and creating reformatted images
• Ensure all scans are properly identified anatomically with complete patient information, contrast volume, lot number, and accession details
• Report wet reading findings to physicians, the Emergency Department, and nursing units as needed; access RadPortal when necessary
• Perform clerical and administrative duties including tech edits, patient escort, room preparation, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean work areas

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts state license in Radiological Technology
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved educational program in Radiological Technology
• Minimum 3–5 years of CT technologist experience
• Proficiency with PACS, VRC, Powerscribe, and Med-Rad injector systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience operating GE VCT and GE Evo/Evolution CT scanner platforms
• Familiarity with RadPortal and CD burning workflows for patient and emergency department requests
• Ability to notify appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions and coordinate resolutions efficiently
