Senior Accountant

CFS is partnering with a missiondriven human services nonprofit that provides employment services and community living support for individuals with special abilities. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative, tightknit accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting state and provider billing, and partnering with program leaders across the organization. This role is based in Framingham, MA.

Job Responsibilities
As the Senior Accountant, you will:

• Lead and complete the monthend close process
• Manage state and provider billing (MassHealth, DDS, state contracts)
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Support contract renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking
• Assist with audit preparation and collaborate across finance and program teams

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of accounting experience
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
• Strong monthend close, billing, and reconciliation skills
• Understanding of state contracts, renewals, and amendments
• Detailoriented communicator who enjoys teamwork

Salary Range
$90,000 to $110,000, based on experience
