Wound Care Nurse - LVN

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse to perform essential nursing duties within their scope of practice, including procedures, injections, medication administration, EKGs, and phlebotomy. Key Responsibilities Include Implementing patient education plans and coordinating care based on provider instructions Documenting patient information, preparing patients for exams, and relaying telephonic patient data to providers Conducting focused assessments, evaluating responses to treatment, and communicating findings Ensuring a safe environment, maintaining patient confidentiality, and practicing infection control Managing medications, immunizations, lab samples, and IV therapy if certified Organizing exam rooms and sterilizing instruments Fulfilling related duties as assigned Qualifications And Skills Required High school diploma or GED Current, unrestricted LVN/LPN license and BLS certification Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and electronic medical records Ability to perform medical procedures, give injections, and perform phlebotomy Effective communication, customer service skills, and ability to react calmly in emergencies Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications IV therapy certification Over two years of medical experience Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Physical and mental requirements include: lifting up to 25 pounds, operating equipment, receiving instructions, and occasional exposure to communicable diseases.
