As a Security Officer Field Patrol in New Albany, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and reflect integrity while adapting to the needs of the location.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities across the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help to verify entry permissions for designated areas such as academic buildings, residence areas, and administrative spaces in alignment with location procedures.
• Support campus operations by assisting with directions, escort requests, event-related coverage, and/or communication with appropriate personnel during routine and unusual situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
