Team members support a friendly atmosphere that encourages creativity for all ages and skill levels. Role Description The Studio Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based in Wellesley Hills, MA. In this role, the assistant supports daily studio operations, including setting up and breaking down art stations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and preparing materials for classes, parties, and events. The role involves greeting guests, answering questions, assisting with check-in and payments, and helping participants with basic art techniques and project guidance. The Studio Assistant may also take photos of events for promotional use, help manage inventory of supplies, and support studio promotions by gathering customer information or assisting with simple research tasks. Evening and weekend availability may be required based on event schedules. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact respectfully and professionally with guests of all ages. Art skills, including basic drawing or painting abilities, and an interest in helping others with creative projects. Photography skills to capture clear, engaging images of studio events and artwork for marketing and social media. Research skills to assist with simple market, event, or material research as needed. Ability to maintain an organized, clean workspace and manage multiple tasks in a busy studio environment. Reliability, punctuality, and comfort working evenings and weekends when required. Prior experience in a studio, classroom, retail, or hospitality setting is beneficial but not required.
