The U.S. Navy is seeking top candidates to join its Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician ranks—experts in neutralizing some of the world’s most dangerous threats.
What is an EOD Technician?
EOD Technicians are highly trained in explosives, robotics, diving, and tactical operations. Their mission is to identify, disarm, and dispose of explosive threats on land, underwater, and in the air.
Key Responsibilities
As a Navy EOD Technician, you will:
- Neutralize explosives, including chemical, biological, and nuclear threats.
- Conduct underwater mine clearance operations.
- Support Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, and other elite units.
- Provide counterterrorism and homeland security expertise.
- Perform parachute and diving operations to reach remote areas.
Training
