Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Pediatric Oncology will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a pediatric and oncology unit. Responsibilities include collaborating with the healthcare team, administering medications, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current PALS and BLS certifications required.
• APHON certification preferred for oncology nursing.
• Previous pediatric experience, particularly in oncology, is required.
