The Role
- Provide high-quality general practice care for companion animals, emphasizing preventive medicine
- Perform comprehensive exams, develop treatment plans, and oversee diagnostic workups
- Conduct routine soft-tissue procedures, including spay/neuter, and deliver dental care and cleanings
- Monitor anesthesia and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Communicate clearly with clients to educate, set expectations, and build long-term relationships
- Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and client service teams to manage appointment and drop-off workflows
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinic protocols and regulatory standards

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, commitment to preventive care, and excellent client communication
- Comfort with routine surgery and dentistry or a willingness to develop these skills with support
