Surgical Technologist

The role of the Surgical Technologist involves preparing the operating room with necessary instruments and equipment, assisting the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and anticipating surgeon needs. They ensure patient safety, organize and sterilize the environment, and assist with dressings, draping, and patient transfer to recovery. Qualifications Active Surgical Technologist license in the state, NBSTSA/NCCA certification, and BLS certification are required. Prior surgical technologist experience is preferred.
