Make the exciting decision today to apply for a career at Hegg.**Position Highlights**The Patient Care Tech provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing unit.**REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:*** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Completion of 75 hour Nurse Aide Training Course required within four months of employment.**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:*** Current valid Iowa Nurse Aide certification required within four months of employment.* BLS certification required.* Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved.* Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.### Why Avera?At Avera, the way you are treated as an employee translates into the compassionate care you deliver to patients and team members.
