Corporate Communications Associate

This role will provide support across the Global Corporate Communications function. You will learn Wayfair's Corporate Communications processes and procedures, including media relations, internal and external messaging and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the Corporate Communications team Editorial Manager, this position will play a critical role enabling the entire communications team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transfer and publish scheduled content across Corporate Communications' owned channels, including intranet, corporate external website, digital signage displays, and corporate social media accounts.
• Supporting Corporate Communications' social media efforts, including engaging with users and Wayfair-tagged content, posting scheduled content, monitoring for and flagging potential issues, and supporting on analytics requests.
• Supporting global internal communications, including logistics for All Company Meeting/Global Town Hall series, leadership blog/AMAs, etc.
• Owning and supporting media monitoring (using Meltwater), including creating bespoke boolean searches, conducting manual media searches and collecting/tracking relevant media coverage.
• Pull & report basic content performance metrics, including article/page traffic (internal/external), internal corporate emails, corporate social media.
• Create new and/or maintain existing team documentation, updating relevant process documents as necessary to ensure they outline the most up-to-date information and processes.
• Provide administrative support for the broader Global Corporate Communications team.

Preferred Competencies:

• Demonstrated interest in any of the following aspects of corporate communications: media relations, internal communications, channel management, social analytics, leadership communications.
• Basic understanding of the role of strategic communications at the enterprise level.
• Research, writing, editing and proofreading a wide range of materials (i.e. media and influencer pitches)
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently.
