We are currently looking to expand our team in the Joliet, IL area. About the Job A successful candidate for this position must be an ++experienced++ Mobile Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic , with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers. Join our dynamic team of professionals and grow your career with us! Benefits $25-$30/hour – commensurate with experience. Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days. Monday-Friday – DAYS! Paid holidays and vacations time. 401(k) after 1 year. Overtime after 40 hours. Bi-weekly paychecks. We promote from within! Responsibilities Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components. Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems. Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service. Maintain positive working relationships with customers. Properly operate the mobile Service Truck. Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck. Requirements ++Must be an experienced++Trailer Mechanic++++. Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
