What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation care at a dedicated rehab hospital
• Round on assigned patients and coordinate with the healthcare team
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges
• Participate in approximately one weekend call every 7th weekend (4 hours per day, gratis)
• Support interdisciplinary team efforts and ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document care using Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with the hospital staff to optimize patient recovery plans

What You Need

• Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (or eligible)
• Massachusetts medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA registration required
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude

About the Assignment
This assignment is based at a well-established rehab hospital in Sandwich, MA, serving an average daily census of 15 patients. The role involves inpatient admissions and discharge responsibilities, focusing solely on patient care without procedures. Flexibility is available to adapt between attending and consulting roles as needed, providing a varied and engaging practice environment.
