What You’ll Do

• Admit, evaluate, and discharge patients at a rehab hospital
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and monitor patient recovery plans
• Conduct daily patient rounds and provide clinical oversight
• Participate in approximately one weekend call every 7th weekend, with minimal unexpected hours
• Document patient progress using Epic EMR software
• Assist in coordinating patient discharge planning and follow-up care

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (BC IM), with willingness to obtain or hold a license in MA
• Active DEA certification
• At least 1 year of relevant experience

Preferred:

• Prior experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the Assignment

This position is at a reputable rehab hospital focused on helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life. The provider will be responsible for inpatient admissions, discharges, and patient care oversight, with no procedural duties involved. Flexible to either a purely attending role or a combination of attending and consulting during the assignment.
