Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Oncology unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Participate in Med/Surg/Telemetry-level care as needed, including floating to other units when census requires
• Support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside standard patient care responsibilities
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of orientation modules and required testing
• Note: Travel RNs in this role are not expected to administer chemotherapy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no other certifications will meet compliance)
• Relias EKG testing must be completed within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both attempts results in automatic cancellation
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
