As a Speech-Language Pathologist at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve the quality of life, health, and comfort of residents. Responsibilities for Speech-Language Pathologist Prepare engaging exercises and activities to use during speech sessions with patients Provide counseling and consultations for new patients Work with SLP team and Registered Dieticians to determine safe diet Create goals and objectives for patients to work toward and identify areas of progress and challenges Prepare speech pathology equipment and exam room ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed Attend continuing education courses and work to advance personal knowledge and experience within the field Request and organize written authorization from patients involving specific follow up instructions and goals for improvement Treat residents according to a treatment plan approved by the attending physician Communicate with Supervisor and other health team members regarding resident progress, problems, and plans Record clinical documentation according to the accepted regulatory, facility, and professional guidelines; this includes daily notes, weekly progress notes and monthly recertification documents Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements NYS License A Master's degree in speech-language pathology Preferred Proficiency in Optima HCS What We Offer Competitive pay scale Medical and dental coverage 401k Paid time off CEU eligible training programs Ongoing leadership and professional development training Dedicated and local leadership support Apply today!
