This role can be based in Oak Ridge, Piketon, or Bethesda, with a monthly trip to Piketon to stay close to the action. You'll help connect the dots between operations, capital investments, and long-term growth — ensuring every dollar, especially capital activity, is captured, analyzed, and put to work driving smarter decisions. You'll collaborate cross-functionally, translate financial performance into strategic recommendations, and help guide decisions that shape the future of Centrus — all while staying connected to on-the-ground operations through regular engagement with our Piketon site.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MBA preferred)2+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, or business developmentProficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) for data automation and forecastingExpertise in Power BI (dashboards, DAX, Power Query, visualization best practices)Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and pivot tablesKnowledge of SQL for data extraction and integrationProven track record building ROI, NPV, IRR, and DCF modelsExperience tracking, analyzing, and reconciling capital activity across projects and financial systemsExceptional communication skills to translate complex models into actionable insightsAbility to obtain (or already possess) a "Q" clearancePreferred QualificationsAnalytical horsepower to turn big data into sharp financial insightsStrategic vision to model growth trajectories and evaluate investment opportunitiesCollaboration skills to partner across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and StrategyCommunication finesse to present financial insights to executives, stakeholders, and board membersTechnical creativity to build automated, cloud-based, data-driven financial systemsBonus points if you've worked on M&A analysis, capital budgeting, or high-growth projectsCurrently possesses a "Q" or "L" clearancePay:Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $64,248 - $107,080. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
