As an Inside Sales Representative you will focus on expanding Maverick’s current customer base by helping customers move their product in the most cost-effective way possible. You will have the opportunity to sell Maverick’s services to the customer, but to also continually service those customers’ ever-growing transportation needs. Being team-centric, yet individually driven will be essential to your success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails Understand customer needs/requirements and provide them with top notch solutions Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest Grow and develop accounts to their highest potential through strong customer relationships and referrals Partner with operations leaders to ensure your customers are provided with outstanding service Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the logistics industry Requirements: A winning attitude and determination to succeed Willingness to go above and beyond for our customers Strong negotiation skills – persuasiveness, aggressiveness, confidence Self-driven with a desire to succeed Ability to think creatively to find solutions Prior sales, operations or customer service experience preferred Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology Education: High school diploma or GED required Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus 2 years experience or more in a sales role required Job Type: Full-time Salary: $44,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience level: 1 year Shift: Day shift Supplemental pay types: Commission pay Weekly day range: Monday to Friday Work setting: In-person Office Ability to commute/relocate: Easton, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Inside sales: 1 year (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Maverick Transport, Inc.
