The Greensboro Environmental Division is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to operate Vacuum Trucks and Tankers, supporting demolition and environmental construction projects throughout the region. Some travel out of state may be required. Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum trucks and tankers on demolition and environmental construction sites
- Ensure safe and efficient loading, unloading, and securing of materials
- Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, and team members
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of assigned vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum of 2 years of operating a vacuum truck/tanker
- Experience operating in an environmental construction or demolition environment is a plus
- Strong commitment to safety and a professional work ethic
- Ability to pass background check and DOT-compliant drug screening
- TWIC card is a plus, but not required
