Exciting Night Shift Emergency Nurse Opportunity! Job Description:
- Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Start Date: ASAP! 11/16 is the absolute latest, earlier preferred!
- Urgent Needs: Allowed to start with compliance items pending.
- Schedule: 4x12s, Nights (7p-7:30a), Weekends (minimum 8 per contract), and Holidays as needed.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years; First-time travelers are welcome!
Key Qualifications:
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- PALS
- Charting System: EPIC
- Unit Type: General Emergency Department, Combined Adult/Pedi, Non-Trauma
- Skills Required:
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line care/management
- Phlebotomy and Starting IVs
- Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors
- Procedural Sedation Administration
- CPAP/BiPAP management
- Interpretation of ABGs
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- Triage experience

- Days: 5
- Nights: 5
- Weekends: 5
- Daily Census: 120
- Number of Beds: 40
- Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary
Compliance Requirements:
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Background Check: No open cases permitted
- License: Active license must be in hand at submission
- RTO: Must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO accepted Additional Information:
- Education: Third-party education verification required
- Floating: Travelers may be floated to any campus as needed
- EKG Exam: All RNs must pass an EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
