Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

License: Florida Speech Language Pathology License (Provisional Licenses not accepted)
Certifications: BLS American Heart Association, CCC-SLP
Must-Have:
Must be experienced in swallow evaluations, speech and language evaluations, and dysphagia treatments.
Must have proficiency and experience in performing MBS.
Must have experience with the adult and geriatric population in acute care.
Description:
The unit has a total of 250 beds.
Currently, there are 5 staff members in Speech Therapy.
The staff consists solely of SLPs.
Full caseload is approximately 10-12 patients.
The type of equipment used includes MBS/fluoro.
The documentation system is Meditech.
There are no call requirements for this position.
The candidate must be able to function independently with patient care items.
The department values patient advocacy and clinical strength.
The team is known for being highly engaged and cohesive.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who shares these values.
The dress code includes light grey scrubs or any solid color scrubs.
