Senior Appliance Repair Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in Manda Bay, Kenya. This role is responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of appliances and small equipment, ensuring safe and effective operation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various household and commercial appliances.
• Perform functional tests, inspections, adjustments, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all appliances meet safety and operational standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
• Transport equipment to and from repair locations safely.
• Complete work orders, inspection reports, and parts requisitions accurately.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Follow all workplace safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma/GED equivalent or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience in appliance repair.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills.
• Ability to lift and transport appliances safely.
• Proficiency in completing work orders and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Completion of a structured appliance repair training program (preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
