Geopolitical Research & Report Writer — U.S. Remote

A fast-growing geopolitical advisory and strategic research firm is seeking experienced Geopolitical Research & Report Writers based in the United States to join our remote team.

Location: Remote — United States

Employment Type: Part-Time / Freelance / Independent Contractor

⏰ Schedule: Flexible

Expected Workload: Approximately 3–4 reports per month

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-depth research on geopolitics, international affairs, U.S. and global politics, economics, defense & security, and strategic affairs .
• Produce detailed, well-structured, evidence-based analytical reports.
• Research, evaluate, and verify information using credible and authoritative sources.
• Monitor major global developments and assess their potential implications for businesses, investors, industries, and financial markets .
• Translate complex geopolitical developments into clear, insightful, and actionable analysis.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, sourcing, objectivity, and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Journalism, Public Policy, Strategic Studies , or a related field.
• Excellent English-language research and professional writing skills .
• Demonstrated experience in research/report writing, geopolitical analysis, intelligence analysis, journalism, policy research, or strategic research .
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, fact-checking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
• Strong familiarity with U.S. and international political, economic, and geopolitical developments.
• Must be currently based in the United States.

Compensation

• Paid Trial: Starting at $250 per report
• Ongoing Compensation: $300–$500 per report , depending on experience, complexity, and quality
• Typical Monthly Earnings: Approximately $1,500–$6,000+ , depending on workload and output
• Performance-based bonuses may be available.
• Opportunity for long-term freelance collaboration with an expanding research team.
