Talent Acquisition Recruiter

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter partners with hiring managers, the HR Employee Relations team, and relevant community partners to anticipate and meet evolving needs for delivering quality, diverse talent across the organization. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter builds and nurtures relationships with prospective candidates from the application process through onboarding. He or she will also be responsible for executing short-term and long-term Recruiting Strategies.

JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES

Partners with business leaders to understand organizational needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, source qualified candidates, and assess applicants for open positions. Required to meet various staffing goals across all levels within several disciplines, multiple organizations, and various industries. Reviews applications/resumes, conducts pre-screening process, and recommends candidates for further consideration. Meets with hiring managers and leadership to understand position requirements and long-term goals and expectations. Contributes to the interview process with leadership, provides recommendations, and partners with hiring managers throughout the entire candidate selection process. Maintains accurate reporting and data for talent acquisition metrics: audit needs, candidate updates, and job tracking. Collaborates with hiring managers to review detailed job descriptions for skills and qualifications as required for the position. Proactively sources and maintains a pipeline of qualified candidates through internal and external networks: posting advertisements, participating in job fairs, and utilizing social media. Stays current with industry trends related to short- and long-term recruitment strategies. Builds relationships with local and regional partners by engaging in educational and professional programs to generate brand awareness and community involvement. Identifies, explores, and recommends third-party partnerships when applicable. Remains knowledgeable of rules, regulations, and applicable laws through continuing education programs. Provides recruitment training and guidance at all levels of the organization to ensure highly qualified, talented hires. Utilizes applicant tracking systems to process and track candidates for talent acquisition needs and to ensure OFCCP, DOL, EEO, and DOT guidelines are met. Other duties or project assignments as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional, corporate, or staffing talent acquisition role is required. Associate's degree or equivalent number of college credit hours required; BA/BS degree An associate's degree or equivalent number of college credit hours is required; a BA/BS degree is strongly preferred. Commensurate experience will be considered. Experience using talent acquisition/applicant tracking and reporting software is required. Demonstrated strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required. Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical and strategic thinking skills are required. Self-directed and detail oriented, problem-solving capabilities are required. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
