Access equity opportunities and prepare for executive leadership roles.Job DescriptionOverviewLead financial operations for a healthcare organization, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring compliance across multi-state operations.Collaborate with executive leadership to optimize financial strategies and support organizational growth.Oversee accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting to maintain operational excellence.Manage and mentor a distributed accounting team, fostering professional development and collaboration.Enhance ERP systems to improve efficiency and financial accuracy.Engage in M&A activities, supporting financial integration and reporting for acquired entities.Contribute to the organization’s mission of delivering exceptional care and peace of mind.Participate in leadership development initiatives to prepare for future executive roles.Key Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities.Lead optimization and integration projects for ERP systems.Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets.Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance.Mentor and manage a remote accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration.Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning.Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial planning and execution.Job RequirementsActive CPA license with a strong background in healthcare accounting preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.Proficiency in ERP systems and experience in system optimization and automation.Experience managing remote teams and multi-state tax compliance.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Proven ability to lead M&A financial integration and reporting processes.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset.
