Line Cook

Overview In search of quality BOH, we are looking for passionate, hardworking, dependable individuals with skills to work and learn all aspects of the kitchen. The position is as follows. Line Cooks (3-5 days a week, Do all stations including cleaning and washing dishes) Ability to work at a high volume, fast paced kitchen, with very little margin for error. Ability to follow recipes and instructions clearly. Cleanliness is a priority. Ability to deep clean and detail the work environment. Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Cleaning of service line and pizza ovens at end of shift Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen and dish station at all times Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow chef’s instruction Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Scratch food making Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Knowledge of craft beer a plus Familiar with industry’s best practices. Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Valid CA Food Handlers Card or Equivalent Job Types Full-time, Part-time. Weekends are required for this job.
