Air Liquide's ambition is to be a leader in its industry, deliver long term performance and contribute to sustainability - with a strong commitment to climate change and energy transition at the heart of its strategy.Air Liquide is hiring for a Project Procurement Manager in Houston, TX.Responsible for sourcing and negotiating the procurement of equipment and services for Air Liquide's large-scale capital projects executed by its in-house EPC firm. Purchases must be secured at competitive cost, quality, and delivery levels consistent with Company policy and performance standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities and physical demands required.Job Responsibilities:Conduct RFI / RFP / RFQs for equipment, materials, and services in collaboration with the Project Management team and Engineering teamsLiaise with Engineering and suppliers to conduct technical clarifications in support of proposal development and project executionSecure and analyze quotations, lead negotiations prices and terms & conditions with suppliers, recommend suppliers with respect to cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness for assigned responsibilities.Present bid tab analysis to stakeholders during weekly status meetingsConfer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule, and to track the status of requisitions and orders or to resolve discrepancies with quantity and quality.Create and issue accurate purchase orders in SAP in a timely mannerPrepare, maintain, and review organized purchasing files, reports, supplier database, PO details and price lists.Coordinate quality matters and engineering changes or developments between the company and suppliers.Arrange for submission and inspection of sample products as required.Assist with proposal development by securing budgetary quotesMaintain close supplier relationshipsStudy market trends in raw materials, commodities, etc.Present updates to leadership as neededAttend project planning meetings to ensure strategic alignment in execution phaseAre You a Match?Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field requiredCandidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
