Medical Assistant

Position: Medical Assistant Well-respected Community Health Center seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting providers during preparation and provision of patient visits Interviewing patients and obtaining reasons for visits Room preparation, specimen collection and processing Medication administration Documentation in electronic health records Patient discharge procedures Facilitates communication between internal and external customers. Compensation: $18.71 Per Hour Bonus Up To $7,000 Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Medical Assistant diploma or completion of a United States Armed Forces medical services training program required Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant Combination of education and work experience that meets necessary skills will be considered CPR certification required Valid fingerprint clearance card required Certified Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire Reliable transportation to meet operational reassignments Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance may be required if driving during work hours or for mileage reimbursement #J-18808-Ljbffr Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.
