Shipping/Receiving ClerkOur client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting the Logistics and Inventory teams.Job Title: Shipping/Receiving ClerkLocation: Manteno, ILPay Range: $23 per/hrShift: 1st (6am-2:30pm) Mon-FriWhat's the Job?Execute daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities to ensure accurate receipt, documentation, staging, and shipping of materials and finished goods.Prepare, stage, and verify outbound shipments, ensuring correct SKU, lot, quantity, and documentation accuracy.Coordinate with carriers and drivers for dock assignments, loading times, and shipment execution, ensuring safety and efficiency.Receive inbound materials, verify quantities and conditions, and ensure proper labeling and system entry.Support inventory accuracy through transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations, maintaining an organized warehouse environment.What's Needed?High school diploma or GED required.1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in a food manufacturing or regulated environment.Experience using ERP or WMS systems and handheld scanners preferred.Knowledge of FIFO, lot control, and basic traceability requirements.At least one year experience operating sit-down, stand-up forklifts/PIT in hot and cold environments.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.Chance to develop skills in warehouse operations and logistics.Work in a company committed to safety and quality standards.Potential for career growth within the organization.Engage in meaningful work supporting production and customer satisfaction.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
