What You Will Do Core Systems Engineering: Develop system requirements, radar software requirements, radar processing algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces. Concept Development: Develop concepts of operations (CONOPS) for radar systems in support of mission needs. Radar Algorithm & Analysis: Perform radar processing algorithm development and conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data. Analysis Tool Development: Develop analysis tools to support problem identification, troubleshooting, and system performance evaluation. Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging. Drive Performance: Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions that improve system performance and resolve issues. Modeling and Simulation: Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation activities. Present Findings: Present technical findings, analyses, and solutions to leadership and customers. Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations. This role can be based out of Tewksbury, MA. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Experience in one or more of the following: systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, systems test. Experience with one or more of the following: C++, Python, MATLAB, similar programming languages. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with the design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures on DoD systems. Experience with radar processing algorithms, radar software requirements, and performance analysis, including development of supporting analysis tools. Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments. Experience developing and managing requirements using DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools, including application of model‑based and digital engineering practices. Experience evaluating radar or sensor systems using simulated environments to support verification and validation. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and interfacing with internal and external customers, including presentation of technical results.
