Looking for a medical assistant for a General Surgeon. the office is located across from the methodist hospital campus in Westoverhills. We are a small practice, but my current office staff team has been with me for 7 and 8 years. We are fortunate to have a great team with caring staff and kind surgeons.
The work is 8-5am
Monday - Friday
Working from home is available on occasions, but majority of the work will be in the office.
Job Description:
front office work, greeting patients, accepting their information, helping with forms. Scheduling clinic patients, uploading radiology and pertinent information for the clinic visit. Communicating with the insurance companies for scheduled operations (pre-certification process). We have a 3rd party billing team, so billing will not be part of the job; only applying the correct CPT codes before submitting forms to the billing team.
We are using eClinical Works for our EMR.
