Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 hours (18:45–07:15) | Block scheduling may be accommodated based on facility needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a Level II Trauma Facility
- Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date (non-billable time)
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience working in large healthcare facilities
- Every other weekend (EOW) availability required
- Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Prior experience with EPIC charting system
- Background in ICU or critical care nursing within a high-acuity or trauma environment
