Case Manager RN

The Case Manager RN will utilize a broad knowledge base of health care delivery and case management within a managed care environment. The RN will perform Utilization Review and assess levels of care and observation status. An understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems is essential for this role. The RN should have a working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards. Knowledge of post-acute levels of care and regulatory compliance requirements is preferred. The RN will effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members. Demonstrating a commitment to service excellence in all interactions is crucial for this position. The RN will promote quality patient care and assure a positive patient experience. Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills are necessary for success in this role. Intermediate computer skills and the ability to work independently are important. Candidates must be capable of fostering teamwork and collaboration to enhance the patient experience.
