Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a self‑motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department team for a Quad Shift within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway. This position is responsible for the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and the facility, including providing preventative maintenance, repairs, diagnostic and troubleshooting services on a variety of production equipment and building systems while reporting to the Maintenance Manager. Monitor applicable systems and machines for acceptable performance. Adhere to all established policies and procedures with respect to operations, health & safety, and security. Complete and document preventive maintenance and repairs as needed, as well as routine maintenance tasks as assigned. Parts Inventory Tracking – monitor and requisition materials, supplies and spare parts as necessary to sustain equipment operation. Maintain and upkeep maintenance records/logs (i.e.: PMs, down time hours, etc.) Equipment and Machinery Change Overs – change operating characteristics of equipment. Maintain apprenticeship standards per the Maintenance Manager. Who You Are Grade 12 diploma – Electrical / Mechanical Diploma Driver’s License, Forklift License, Aerial Platform / Fall Arrest, WHMIS Meets the attendance criteria as noted in the APP (INTERNAL) What You’ll Bring Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Be self‑motivated and handle multiple priorities and complete tasks/projects in accordance with stated deadlines without direct supervision, work independently or as part of the team. Work independently or as part of the team. Handle stress in a fast‑paced working environment. Basic tool set for repairs.
