As a Security Officer Manufacturer Access Screening in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help support access control operations, monitor and patrol assigned areas, verify credentials, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and document access activity to help support security-related operations and site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels and assisting with incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Assist with the screening and coordination of deliveries, vendors, and/or authorized personnel while maintaining awareness of security-related procedures and location rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
