Radiology physician employment in Texas : As a Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health) you will: - 1. Assess and provide intervention for individuals with a wide range of chronic medical conditions, and behavioral health issues affecting medical conditions to include assessment and disposition of beneficiaries with acute and chronic risk. - 2. Consult with primary care providers to select, approve, and document treatment priorities. - 3. Educate clinic staff on the principles of primary care behavioral health via trainings and briefings. - 4. Conduct outpatient group classes, stress management, relaxation training, assertive/social skills training, diabetes management, chronic pain, and brief related interventions. - 5. Assess acute mental and behavioral medicine conditions in beneficiaries. - 6. Provide individual and group treatment, using various evidence-based modalities to include problem focused interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychoeducational classes. - 7. Develop, and implement, professional development activities, coordinates departmental training on PCBH related topics. - 8. Performs Other Duties as Assigned
