Job Description Border States Paving is hiring for the 2026 Season! Border States Paving, Inc. is a regional paving company located in Fargo, ND, and has an opening for a Truck Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repair of various types of trucks and to assist with the maintenance of asphalt plants on the road throughout SD/ND. The position may operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect for defects. Welding, hydraulic, and electrical experience is required. Moderate to heavy lifting, bending, reaching and stooping are required. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL A. Must pass a required pre‑employment urine drug screen. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and be able to work overtime and weekends. Extensive summer hours. Compensation and benefits: Excellent wages ($32.40–$35.00 per hour DOE) and $21.90 per hour fringe (Health Insurance Premiums paid 100% from May 1 to Nov 15 each year) and other benefits are offered.
