Job Description
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

12-hour shifts, Days, with varied hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 16 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.
• Required AHA BLS, ACLS, & NIH Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a progressive care unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.

Compliance / Notes

MUST work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day; and 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
