Construction Coordinator

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking a  Construction Coordinator to support our clients in Oak Ridge, TN.

The Construction Coordinator supports field execution and day-to-day construction activities across assigned projects.This position serves as the primary field liaison between contractors, engineering, and project leadership to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage project administrative responsibilities including site access, badging coordination, and field logistics support.
• Coordinate submittals and approvals between contractors and engineering teams.
• Support day-to-day field activities to ensure work progresses according to schedule.
• Serve as first-line contact for contractors regarding daily field issues and coordination needs.
• Monitor daily construction progress and ensure adherence to approved plans and specifications.
• Support and monitor quality control activities in the field.
• Generate and maintain daily field reports, documentation, and photo logs.
• Assist in tracking schedule impacts and communicating field updates to project leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting construction projects in industrial, commercial, or government environments preferred.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• DOE Q clearance preferred.
