Nurse (part-time)

Job Details Job Location: Bourne, MA (also Billerica, MA). Position Type: Part Time. Education Level: 2 Year Degree. Salary Range: $36.50 - $38.50 hourly. Job Shift: 1st Shift/Days. Job Category: Nurse. Outpatient Treatment Programs located within the Barnstable House of Correction and Middlesex House of Correction. Schedule Part‑time: 32 hours a week, every other weekend required. Odd weeks (Week 1): Sunday (Middlesex), Monday (Middlesex), Tuesday (Barnstable), Friday (Barnstable), Saturday (Middlesex). Even weeks (Week 2): Monday (Middlesex), Tuesday (Barnstable). Pay Rate Pay rate: $36.50 per hour for LPN, $38.50 per hour for RN. $3.00 hourly weekend differential. Responsibilities Administer medications to clients as outlined in medication administration policy. Control, count and appropriately document onsite medication. Educate clients on the use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication‑assisted treatment. Verify medication orders with the physician and transcribe physician’s orders. Assist in the admission process and document substance‑use diagnosis as required. Qualifications Must be a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies. Must be able to express oneself adequately in written and oral communication and communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies. Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
