Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting to join a supportive healthcare team in Sacramento. Job Responsibilities:
•Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility
•Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities under supervision
•Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
•Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and mobility techniques
•Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
•Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations

Requirements
•Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California
•Current BLS/CPR certification
•Minimum of 6 months of recent PTA experience within the last 5 years preferred
•Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus
•Strong communication and teamwork skills
