Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a long-term care–focused environment under supervising clinicians
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and document accurately
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in patient status, and communicate findings to the supervising RN
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and safety needs
- Perform basic wound care, wound assessment, and routine diabetic and catheter care as assigned
- Maintain accurate charting, document observations, and participate in care planning; respond promptly to call lights
- Be willing to float to appropriate units as needed to meet patient care requirements

Requirements
- Current New York licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care or geriatric setting
- Must be willing to float to different units; able to work day shift options (6am–6pm or 10am–10pm) and every other weekend
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and comply with facility policies
