Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cable Assembler to join our team in Milford, OH. This role involves assembling electrical parts, performing soldering, and ensuring all assemblies meet quality standards. The position is available for the first shift, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and is a three-month contract-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work orders, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams before starting tasks.
• Gather tools, materials, and components needed for the day’s builds.
• Assemble electrical parts such as coils, sensors, harnesses, transformers, or control units.
• Perform soldering, crimping, wire routing, and mechanical fastening.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with quality inspectors or engineers to resolve issues.
• Document completed work in production logs or digital systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety procedures.
• Follow all environmental, health, safety, and quality guidelines to maintain a compliant and hazard-free work environment.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas in alignment with housekeeping and GMP expectations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in soldering and cable harness assembly (2 to 3+ years).
• Ability to work with D sub connectors (DB, MDR, etc.).
• Proficiency in using intercontact or connectors.
• Experience working off electrical/cable drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 is desired but not required.
• Ability to pass a soldering test.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
