CNA/ED Receptionist, PRN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will be responsible for providing patient cares, assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of patients and general cleaning of units and equipment under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse on the medical/surgical floor.
• Will also perform ED receptionist duties to include registration and switchboard duties.

HOURS:

PRN – work as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant required.
• Must be on the CNA Central Registry prior to hire.
• Must have excellent computer, communication, and organization skills.
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently, be accurate and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Secretarial or reception experience preferred.

PRIMARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to handle frequent interruptions.
• Must be able to frequently lift over 60 pounds.
• Must be able to have good visual and auditory skills.
