Certified Nursing Aide Job Summary Morningstar Residential Care Center, a 120-bed sub-acute skilled nursing and long-term rehabilitation center located in Oswego, NY, is seeking motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dynamic team! As a CNA at Morningstar, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist with the maintenance of residents' nutritional and personal hygiene needs Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition Understand the psychological needs of the resident Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents Assist with nursing and other staff as needed Follow all professional, facility, and legal standards while maintaining resident and facility confidentiality Responsible for promoting a safe work environment through proactive injury prevention practices and compliance with all safety standards Additional Responsibilities Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges Implement plan of care of the residents based on assessments and goals established by the interdisciplinary care team Ensure residents at end of life or on hospice services are kept clean, dry, and comfortable Report to supervisor all incidents or injuries or any observations of abuse Requirements Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification Benefits Competitive Pay Rates: Up to $22.50/hr, plus shift differentials Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Financial Security: Retirement Savings Plan Work-Life Balance & Wellness: PTO, Paid Holidays, and your Birthday!
