Comprehensive Nursing Care And Leadership Opportunity

This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse will support patients across all ages and backgrounds, promoting health and providing physical and psychosocial care. Working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, the nurse will coordinate and evaluate nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain competency in assessing patients from infancy through geriatrics.
• Recognize and respond to changes in clinical conditions by adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Utilize critical thinking to interpret patient data and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Develop, update, and validate individualized nursing care plans daily and as needed.
• Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines, adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Accurately follow physician orders and complete tasks promptly.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently while managing stress with maturity and flexibility.
• Manage equipment and supplies based on patient needs, ensuring department organization and cleanliness.
• Charge appropriately for supplies and treatments.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work hours and assignments, including potential support in respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy.

Education and Certifications:

• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within 1 year (NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced).
• For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is required.
